First Printing, trade issue. Octavo (21.5cm); original glossy pictorial card wrappers; [6],7-53,[3]pp; illus. Signed by Burroughs on the title page, dated 3/19/93, and inscribed by illustrator S. Clay Wilson directly beneath: "To Yummy Mimi / S. Clay Wilson / Spring 1993." Just beneath his inscription, above and below the publisher's name, Wilson has also drawn a small tornado and the words "Twist 'n' Shout!" Trivial wear to extremities, with a thin, hairline tear to upper spine; very Near Fine. Together with a one-page ALS from Wilson to the recipient, composed in black pen on yellow cardstock (measuring 5.5" x 8.5") and dated March 29, 1993; 17 lines (70 words), signed "Maybe see you sometime / S." Fine. Offered together with the original brad-bound mailing envelope, postmarked, franked, lightly decorated by Wilson.

A late collection of six short stories and one poem, dedicated to American gangster John Dillinger. This edition illustrated by American underground cartoonist S. Clay Wilson, Burroughs's close friend and collaborator whose outlandish and often unhinged drawings were published in the German editions of Cities of the Red Night and The Wild Boys during the early 1980s. 8622.
