Light wear and very mild dustiness to extremities, with some light creasing at crown; contents fresh; Near Fine, lacking both the fragile pictorial tissue dustjacket and the hand-sealed insert containing flowers from Crazy Horse's grave.
Laid into this copy is an ALS from Jon Webb to a "George" on Loujon Press stationary: "Dear George – Hope you are well. Here's one of the first copies bound of this book issue of Outsider. Be at binding for weeks. We're okay – just tired from the long hours. We send you our best – Jon (+ Lou). Together with an original letterpressed order form for this issue of The Outsider on one side, and Bukowski's Crucifix in a Deathhand on the other.
Final issue of Jon and Lou Webb's legendary literary journal, the first three issues of which were published in the New Orleans.
