Slim octavo (21cm); letterpress printed sheets stapled into pictorial card wrappers (offset printed); [1]-23,[24]pp. Two small holograph corrections to the typescript poem, tiny spot of erasure to upper right corner of front wrapper, else very Near Fine.

Lovely copy of this collection, featuring poems which previously appeared in the pages of little magazines like Outsider, Epos, The Naked Ear, Targets, San Francisco Review, Impetus, Sciamachy, and Quicksilver, et al. Gathered together here for the first time, with a foreword by Bukowski. "The Payoff" wasn't printed until its inclusion in the posthumously published Bone Palace Ballet (1997). Uncommon.
