One of 27 numbered copies signed by the author, this being copy no.2. Broadside, with text, ornaments, and rule border letterpress printed in black and red on stiff cream wove paper (watermarked "Hamilton Carousel"), measuring 25.25cm x 37cm (10" x 14.5"). Archivally hinged onto white mat board (measuring 12" x 16.5"), and suitable for framing. A Fine copy of this Bukowski rarity – the first of five broadsides ("The Flower Lover / I Met A Genius" "On Going Out To Get The Mail," "To Kiss the Worms Goodnight," and "The Girls," being the others) that comprised the earliest productions of the nascent Black Sparrow Press, and marking Bukowski's long association with John Martin.
