An exceedingly well-preserved copy of this yellowback edition of Twain's humorous memoir of his life as a Mississippi river boat pilot. This printing, and the first printing by Ward, Lock and Tyler that precede it, are retitled reprints of Old Times on the Mississippi (Toronto, 1876), which itself was an unauthorized republication of a serial in Atlantic Monthly.
