SAILOR SONG - REVIEW COPY, INSCRIBED TO HERB YELLIN
New York: The Viking Press, 1992. First Edition. Item #5032
First Printing, a review copy, with the publisher's printed slip and publicity letter laid in. Octavo (23.5cm); beige paper and off-white cloth-covered boards, with titles stamped in gilt on spine; dustjacket; [x],533,[1]pp. Inscribed by Kesey on the front endpaper in gold paint marker: "For Herb Yellin / Ken Kesey 1992." A few trivial bumps along lower board edges, else very Near Fine in a Fine, unclipped dustjacket.
Late novel by Kesey inscribed to Herb Yellin, publisher and founder of Lord John Press in Northridge, CA. Yellin published Kesey's short story The Day After Superman Died as a limited edition in 1980. Not an uncommon book, and a title which Kesey signed liberally, but nice association copy to his fine press publisher.
Price: $450.00
