Description

First Printing. A Very Good+ copy in plain green wrappers, printed in black and white. Covers lightly edgeworn, with a tiny bruise on the front hinge, a few faint stains to the front wrappers, and two discreet splits at the base of the spine at the hinges. The 1500 Franc price on the rear wrapper has not been cancelled. Altogether a sound copy of No. 70 in the 'Traveler's Companion Series,' collecting the novels 'The Debauched Hospodar' and 'Memoirs of a Young Rakehell,' both previously published in separate editions by The Olympia Press and presented together in this format for the first time. Apollinaire was a highly regarded French poet, novelist, and playwright, famous for his erotic literature and credited for coining the term 'surrealism.'
