Comments

Attractive collection of Patchen's "Picture-poems" - fusions of original poetry and paintings - inscribed to his long-time friend and City Lights Books publisher. After Patchen and his wife Miriam settled into San Francisco's Telegraph Hill neighborhood in 1950, they met and became friendly with Ferlinghetti, who would go on to publish Patchen's work in his popular Pocket Poets series.
