Description

First Printing, a Review Copy with the publisher's slip laid in. Octavo (21.5cm); dark gray paper and black cloth-covered boards, with titles stamped in silver on spine and illustration of Thompson blind-stamped to front cover; dustjacket; [12], 206pp. Faintest foxing to text edges, small rubbed spot to front cover, and a barely-discernable trace of adhesive residue to left edge of front endpaper, where the review slip was affixed; Near Fine. Dustjacket is unclipped (priced $5.95), still bright and unfaded on the spine, with some trivial wear and faint soil to upper and lower edges, and a tiny bluish stain at center of front panel; Near Fine.

Comments

Attractive advance copy of Thompson's drug-soaked classic. Basis for the 1998 Terry Gilliam film starring Johnny Depp and Benicio del Toro.
