Hint of sunning to wrapper extremities, faint foxing to upper edge of textblock, else internally clean and Near Fine. In the original dustjacket, this one a variant noted by Federman & Fletcher as having the legend "Special Printing for Sale in the U.K. and Commonwealth," underneath which a 12/6 price has been modified by hand; some pinpoint wear to upper and lower edges, light rubbing to spine ends, else Near Fine.
The first of three novels in Beckett's mid-20th century Trilogy, written in Paris between 1947-1950, which include Malone Meurt and The L'Innommable. It introduces the vagrant Molloy, mysteriously incarcerated, who escapes and attempts to discover the whereabouts of his mother; the other character, Jacques Moran, is deputized by anonymous authorities and tasked with finding Molloy.
