Described by Pronzini & Muller as a "hair-raising combination of mystery, psychological suspense, and natural (as opposed to supernatural) horror; that novel is set in Marapai, New Guinea, and tells the unconventional tale of Emma Warwick's search for the murderer of her anthropologist husband" (p.410). Dustjacket is price-clipped, with some light rubbing, a few faint creases, a small surface scratch to rear panel, and an unnecessary piece of clear tape reinforcement at spine on verso; about Near Fine.
