Quarto; black and greyish-green portfolio-style binding, with titles stamped in black on front cover; [6],7-62,[1]pp; with lithographed portraits of Ginsberg and his mother by R.B. Kitaj (who has signed the portraits). A Fine copy. After "Howl for Carl Solomon," "Kaddish" is likely Ginsberg's best-known poem – his attempt at mourning the passing of his mother Naomi. An early publication by the press, printing the text of two other poems ("White Shroud" and "Black Shroud") with an introduction by Helen Vendler. Arion No.38.
