Crown octavo (19.75cm); in Cagle's 'B' binding, with the publisher's name in uniform type at base of spine; slate gray cloth, with titling and decorations stamped in gilt on spine and front cover; [viii],259,[5] + 16pp of publisher's ads, dated Autumn 1897. Light wear to extremities, tanning to endpapers, with a few small rubbed spots to cloth, a handful of faint scuffs and stains to rear cover, and very light rubbing to titling on front cover; faintest suggestion of foxing to text edges, though contents are quite clean; a Very Good, sound copy, housed in a custom clamshell case.
