While signed copies of the CBA edition appear with some frequency, signed and inscribed copies of the first printing are considerably less common. Octavo (22.25cm); black cloth, with titling and author's facsimile signature stamped in gilt on spine and front cover; dustjacket; 244pp, with 24 pages of photographic plates bound at center. Inscribed by Cash on the front endpaper: "To Camille & Jim / Sincerely / Johnny Cash." Upper right corner of front board gently tapped (though still sharp), else very Near Fine. Dustjacket is unclipped (priced $6.95), showing light wear to spine ends and extremities, and some very faint foxing on verso; Near Fine. Housed in a custom clamshell box - black, of course.
