Thick octavo (23.5cm); rust-colored cloth, with titles stamped in gilt on spine and author's symbol embossed to front cover; dark orange topstain; dustjacket; xlii,1526pp. Some offsetting to pastedowns from binders glue, small decorative bookplate to front endpaper, with a neat 2.25" tear along upper rear hinge; about Near Fine, with bright spine gilt and the topstain unfaded. Dustjacket is price-clipped, lightly shelfworn and a bit dust-soiled, with a few small nicks and tears, two tape mends on verso, and a small triangular chip and attendant scratch to upper rear panel; Very Good.
