Augsburg: MaroVerlag, [1984]. First Edition. Large, attractive promotional poster for the release of Buk - von und über Charles Bukowski by German publisher MaroVerlag. The book contained a selection of Bukowski's work, with contributions by A.D. Winans, Rainer Wehlen, Steve Richmond, and others. The large illustration at upper half, while not identical, bears strong resemblance to the cover art for You Kissed Lilly (1978). Scarce, the only example we've seen or handled, and not found in OCLC. Item #4597
Original illustrated poster, offset printed in six colors on matte white poster stock, measuring 42cm x 59.5cm (16.5" x 23 3/8"). Faint diagonal crease to upper right corner, else Fine (unbacked).
