The Buddhist Third Class Junkmail Oracle was a short-lived Cleveland newspaper, compiled and edited by d.a. levy prior to his death and continued by his friend Steve Ferguson. The paper reflected the interests of the emerging counterculture, and served as a vehicle for levy's poetry, collages, and his exploration of Buddhism. The issue contains a missive by Ferguson on levy and his work, "Epitaph For Each D. A. Levy Poem" by Walter Lowenfels, poems by Douglas Blazek, Paul Puhle's "Manifesto Toward A New Culture," a photographic centerfold by Michael Lesy, and memorial poems for levy. Item #4040
