Crimson Oasis Issue, one of 26 lettere copies specially bound, each inscribed to a different recipient, this being copy 'E'. Inscribed on the colophon: "For Bill Rayburn / Henry Miller / 3/26/67." Square quarto (25.25cm); tan cloth-covered boards and crimson crushed morocco backstrip, with titles stamped in gilt on spine; black, gray, and mauve dustjacket illustrated by Reichel's painting "homme dans la lune"; publisher's orange stained cork slipcase; [iv],87,pp; illus. Fine in a Fine dustjacket, with two pin-sized nicks to upper edge; slipcase showing a few tiny rubbed spots, else very Near Fine. Laid into this copy is a printed letter from the Loujon Press, with a holograph note to the recipient on verso.
