Octavo (20cm); contemporary full calf, spine in six compartments, with five raised bands, decorative elements and title stamped in gilt on spine; frontispiece portrait, ,331,pp. Modest external wear, with some heavier wear (and resulting board exposure) to corners, and a 1" crack to upper front joint; holograph ownership notations to title page ("Ex Libris / Jacobi Ford / 1744"), with tiny numerical notation in the same hand to front pastedown; subtle toning to preliminary leaves, some occasional faint foxing to margins, with a 2.5" streak to p.183, and some old, faint damping to margins on terminal leaves; hinges sound; Very Good, unrestored.
