THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE - REVIEW COPY

New York: G.P. Putnam's Sons, 1962. First Edition. "A classic alternate history novel depicting a world in which Axis powers won World War II, and have divided and occupied the United States...A cleanly written although complexly plotted work, its central action involves the attempt by a German faction to warn the Japanese of an impending nuclear attack on their homeland" (Barron 4-211. Anatomy of Wonder, 1976 ed.). A scarce Review Copy of the author's Hugo Award-winning novel; while we are aware that review slips often migrate from lesser copies to better ones, evidence dictates this one belongs with this copy. Basis for the recent TV mini-series adapted by Amazon Studios. Levack 23a. Item #3157
