Octavo (17cm); maroon vertical-ribbed cloth, with titling and floral decorations stamped in gilt on spine and front cover; top edge gilt; illustrated frontispiece; xii, 223pp. Spine gilt a trifle dulled, but still bright and unrubbed; minute wear to base of spine and lower corners, with previous owner's name and neat rubber-stamp to front endpaper; very Near Fine, and a handsome example of this binding by Lee Thayer (of Decorative Designers).
