Philadelphia and New York: J.B. Lippincott Company, 1959. First Edition. Frank's post-apocalyptic novel, dealing with the effects of a nuclear war on the small town of Ft. Repose, FL, which was based on the actual city of Mt. Dora, FL. A highspot of the genre, rated #29 on Pringle's list of 100 Best Novels, and despite the noted flaws, still a very presentable example; the jacket is quite prone to fading, and the present example remains nice and bright.
