FOUR NOVELS OF THE 1960's & FIVE NOVELS OF THE 1960's & 70's - SIGNED BY JONATHAN LETHEM

New York: The Library of America, 2007-2008. First Edition. New. Item #132

First Printings. Fine copies in unclipped dust jackets, both volumes with the original pictorial bands, which highlight original cover art for the various novels collected in these volumes. The bellybands were left off of later printings of each volume. Both volumes signed by editor Jonathan Lethem, who selected the contents and wrote the notes for each volume. For the first time, each of these books collects the various novels together in this format. "Four Novels" collects The Man in the High Castle, The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, and Ubik. "Five Novels" collects Martian Time-Slip, Dr. Bloodmoney, Now Wait For Last Year, Flow My Tears, The Policeman Said, and A Scanner Darkly. These Library of America volumes will likely be the authoritative editions of Dick's collected work. Usually found without the promotional bands, and not usually found signed.
