Octavo; black cloth, with titling and rule stamped in red on spine and front panel; red topstain; dustjacket; 380pp. Shallow bump to upper fore-edge of front board, with subtle trace of handling to boards; Near Fine. The Arthur Hawkins-designed dustjacket is very subtly darkened at spine, faint, tiny splash mark to lower front panel, with a tiny chip along upper edge of front panel, and some shallow chipping at the crown, affecting the tops of the last three letters in the title; Very Good+ or better, largely complete, and entirely unrestored.
